Give Me Curls

Give Me Curls is a perfect look for a Lady who wants a carefree style.  Can you say Straw Set ?

You can achieve this look two ways.  Set the hair with a drinking straw, and secure the ends with bobby pins. You can also use flexi rods. When setting the hair always use end papers…this will result in smooth ends. Use setting lotion for a firm look , or foam wrap for a soft set.

Allow the hair to dry, then apply a small amount of cream press or Moroccanoil on your hands to separate curls.  To add volume, separate one curl into several.

A straw set may also be combed with a large tooth comb for ultimate volume. This style may also be pinned up to create drama.

Maintenance tips: Wrap your hair with a silk bonnet or sleep on a silk or satin pillow case. Hydrate when needed with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine or Design Essentials Reflections.

Finally toss with your fingers or shake and go.
