Breast Cancer Testimony

October is the month set aside to honor those who fought breast cancer and won.

It’s also the month that we remember those who fought and also won but received the ultimate reward…“Their Wings”.

I believe we can receive two types of answers to our prayers. The first…eternal healing; and the second…earthly healing.

It wasn’t until I experienced the loss of my father that I realized this Revelation.

Thank you Jesus!

The first is the ultimate reward and says,

“…my work is done.  My Heavenly Father has called me home,  I will leave many loved ones and friends behind. I have a new address…an eternal home.”

Only GOD says when this reward will be given out, and only GOD can present it.

To God be the Glory!

The second says God’s healing will manifest in the natural. I’m allowed to write another chapter of my life here on earth . I’m granted more time with my loved ones and friends. I Believe God allows me more time on earth because there’s more work to be done; a chance to save more souls.  A chance to let others see that miracles still exist, or because of his Grace and Mercy.

All of us have been affected by breast cancer directly or indirectly . Over 26 years ago my life was impacted. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Lord have mercy Jesus I still can’t thank God enough for healing her. Every time I think about it…Hallelujah!!!!! comes out of my mouth. I would not be the woman, wife, mother, family member or friend I am today without her.

Most of all I wouldn’t be the believer I am. I wouldn’t have the level of faith in God.  As a young girl I was introduced to the power of prayer. I learned about the power of “The Blood of Jesus”.

Our youth leader at the time, Sister Robinson prayed over us.  She would  always said “The Blood of Jesus covers you”. I didn’t totally understand it fully at the time.  I recall the older saints said you’ll understand it better by and by.

I get it now.

I prayed that the Blood of Jesus would heal my Mother.  The saints began to pray, believe God and speak Gods Word. To God be the Glory she’s alive today.  God has kept her over 26 years in remission.

I speak and declare God Healed her.  Lord I cant THANK you enough for the years I’ve shared with my Mother. I speak many, more years to come with her.  The Blood of Jesus still works!  Thank you Heavenly Father for  keeping her.  I honor my victorious woman this month, and every month to come.

I Love you Mom,
You are my Hero.

Mom…your Strength continues to inspire me. I’m better because I continue to have the best cheerleader which is you.   I now know the meaning of a mothers love.

I hear the words you told me ringing in my ear, “you will understand when you have children.”

If I turn out to be half the woman you are then I would say that I did good. Well not exactly true…you always told me to be better.

To that I would say, “Lord give me strength and equip me for the journey.” Philippians 4:13

How has breast cancer affected you directly or indirectly?

The Bible says we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. Revelation 12:11
You never know who will be affected or encouraged by your words.

Until the next time,
Continue to Believe God’s word.

  1. October is the month that is set aside to honor breast cancer however I celebrate it 365 days of the year because each and every day I think about the day I noticed a difference in my left breast , thank God I listen to my heart I pursued A second opinion . In 2008 I was diagnosed with ductile carcinoma in situ , which led to a lumpectomy on my left breast thank the Lord I can say that I am a survivor of nine years just because I didn’t settle for the first doctors opinion of what I was experiencing . To God be the glory .

    1. Mrs. Katherine,
Let me start by saying Congratulations ! Thank you Lord for keeping her. I’m so thankful that you shared your testimony . Great advice always get a second opinion . I appreciate you so much, someone needs to know God is still in the HEALING business.
      Thank you Lord.

  2. The biggest impact for me came when in the eatly 90’s, I watched a little beautiful 6 year old girl named Porshia battle this awful disease that ravaged her body like nothing I’d ever seen before or after. We all stood in faith believing for her healing, but she had more faith in her small body than all of us adults did together! God called her home, but she held on to her faith to the very end. If we can send men to the moon, surely we can find a cure for cancer.

Thank you for sharing your memory of Porsha. I pray this will bless or encourage someone . We must stand on our Faith, and trust God until he calls us home .. Lord send a cure for cancer in Jesus name !
